The Client

atrify is a cloud-based product content platform, a Global Data Synchronisation Network (GDSN), that shares accurate and reliable content for a seamless compliant exchange of item master data and digital assets between manufacturer, retailer and regulatory authority. It provides a holistic solution portfolio for transparency, compliance and cross-channel trading and is used by more than 20,000 companies, like Nestle, Essity, Boundelle, in over 50 countries. In 2023, atrify was acquired by 1WorldSync, which ensures their consumers with cohesive solutions, services and support across North America and Europe.

The  Product

With atrify's GDSN solutions their customers in healthcare and FMCG industries can exchange reliable, relevant and exploitable product content across all channels and locations. It’s possible to receive content in the GDSN standard, send the content, as well as establish automated M2M connection to the worldwide exchange of product content to customer’s business solution and manage, find and share any digital assets seamlessly. Atrify also makes strategic analysis of the product content and prepares its clients for digital transformation. 

Goal

  • Optimise an outdated existing database and rewrite a new platform without losing historical data and functionalities 
  • Develop a web-based platform with access to regulatory information on travel retail products in 24 European languages on their smartphones
  • Reach more shoppers with a  new application that is legally compliant

Results

  • Optimised and increased usability and simplicity of usage, but kept all functionality and historical data with a completely new system developed on a modern tech ecosystem which is ISO 27001 compliant
  • Enabled suppliers to provide product information to consumers in multiple languages through a new web-based platform compliant with legal standards
