Client Challenge

The client navigated a tight schedule, collaborating with multiple parties for a project that included Diners Erste's extensive digital transformation team and various vendors handling backend and API development. The onboarding process faced complexities, with outdated UX/UI not optimized for smartphones.

The Product

A mobile application that allows users to securely access information about using their Erste Card Diners Club Card, including the possibility of ordering cards and checking account balances and transactions without having an Erste bank account.

Goal

• Develop native applications from the ground up
• Enable card ordering for non-bank users
• Design custom Android and iOS views to ensure compatibility with a wide range of screen sizes and resolutions
• Implement robust security measures to protect user data across different Android and iOS versions, considering the low minimum supported SDK

Results

• Increased user engagement and number of users with a rapid, reliable, and secure Android and iOS application
• Improved user experience with a new UI optimised for various mobile screens
• Simplifying the user's initial experience with the implementation of a streamlined onboarding process
• Implemented back office application for administration of app settings, labels, notifications
