SOFTWARE APPLICATION - TaglioCavo is a vertical solution for Fastweb Spa. Its main use case is handling the intervention in real time after an incidental cut or damage to a tube containing optical fibers.

TaglioCavo is a real-time software integration tool for monitoring maintenance interventions on cables containing optical fibers that have been accidentally cut.

It is composed of a series of subsystems, including a scalable engine that analyzes the status of the various services hosted on individual optical fiber couples to monitor the maintenance status. These Services are analyzed in many ways, including network diagnostics (PING, ROUTE, SNMP), file Log analysis, and querying other monitoring systems via API or SQL Queries.

The development of TaglioCavo uses Scrum Agile methodology; the deliverables are produced as Docker Containers managed with the Docker Compose orchestrator.

The programming languages used are Javascript/Typescript and Python. The Web front end is a highly responsive and feature-rich VueJs application.

Application databases are both relational and NO-SQL.
