Telia Play is an OTT streaming platform available on Android and iOS mobile devices, Smart TVs, STBs, Chromecast and Web. They needed our help to maintain and improve the project for STB and Samsung, LG Smart TVs.

Our developers joined an existing client's team to address the development and maintenance of a cutting-edge TV application for their streaming service, tailored to operate on Samsung and LG TVs, as well as set-top-boxes (STBs).

Our efforts were concentrated on enhancing the user experience by implementing new features, improving performance, integrating a design system, switching from rest APIs to a new GraphQL layer, fixing existing bugs and ensuring code reusability across both TV and STB platforms.

The project's success hinged on our ability to navigate technical intricacies of a legacy codebase while delivering a cohesive and visually appealing user interface across diverse devices.
